1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Risen mobile application ("Risen", "the App", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use or install the application.
2. Using Risen & Alarm Disclaimer
Risen provides high-accountability alarm scheduling features utilizing iOS 26+ AlarmKit frameworks. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Risen on authorized iOS devices owned or controlled by you in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Alarm delivery is not guaranteed. Risen interfaces with your operating system to bypass Focus modes, Silent switches, and restart cycles. However, alarm delivery is not guaranteed and alarms may fail to trigger in the event of:
- Device power failure, battery drainage, or hardware defects.
- Operating system errors, iOS update glitches, or Apple system-level issues.
- Revocation of necessary AlarmKit system permissions by the user.
- Physical damage preventing audio playback or sensor/camera verification.
No Emergency or Safety-Critical Use: You remain solely responsible for important appointments. Risen must not be relied upon for emergency, medical, transportation, employment, examination, or other safety-critical situations.
3. Age Requirements & Eligibility
By downloading or using Risen, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction (typically 18), you must review these Terms of Use with your parent or guardian to ensure they understand and consent to all terms on your behalf.
4. Subscriptions, Lifetime Purchase, & Billing
Risen offers a premium upgrade (Risen Pro) through recurring subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase. By upgrading, you gain access to unlimited active alarms, premium sounds, advanced missions (including Motion, Steps, Memory, Photo, and Squats), and iCloud sync:
- Subscription Tiers: Risen offers premium upgrades through recurring subscriptions and/or one-time lifetime purchases. Available plans, pricing, and billing periods are displayed in the App Store prior to purchase and may vary by region. Any unused portion of a free trial period may be forfeited upon subscription purchase where applicable.
- Lifetime Purchase: Risen may offer a one-time lifetime purchase that grants access to eligible premium features. "Lifetime" refers to the commercially available lifetime of the Risen application and associated premium features and does not guarantee indefinite support or future feature availability.
- Billing & Gateway: All transactions are processed securely through the Apple App Store. Subscription entitlements may be verified and managed through RevenueCat’s infrastructure. We do not store or process your financial information.
- Auto-Renewal & Cancellation: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through Apple ID Account Settings before the renewal date. Refunds are managed solely by Apple.
5. iCloud Sync & Data Persistence
Risen is a local-first application. All stats, configurations, missions, and schedules are stored locally on your device. Risen does not manage user profiles on remote servers.
For Risen Pro users, synchronization between devices is processed via Apple's iCloud and CloudKit infrastructure. Synchronization depends entirely on Apple's services. We do not control, guarantee, or assume liability for the speed, availability, or accuracy of iCloud sync, nor do we guarantee that your data will not be lost, corrupted, or delayed in transit.
6. Apple Standard EULA Integration
These Terms of Use supplement the standard Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including the Standard Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA") published by Apple. Your use of Risen is subject to the Standard EULA. In the event of any conflict between these Terms of Use and the Standard EULA, these Terms of Use shall control with respect to the specific alarm scheduling and morning contract features of Risen.

7. User Responsibilities
You agree to use Risen only for personal, lawful purposes. You represent and warrant that:
- You will not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify Risen's binary or system integrations.
- You will not use the App to create harmful alerts or disrupt others.
8. Intellectual Property
The Risen name, logo, visual identity, branding, app assets, custom sound configurations, typography, user interface layout, and source code are the exclusive intellectual property of Nav Solutions and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App or its assets without prior written consent.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
RISEN IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT RISEN WILL PREVENT OVERSLEEPING IN ALL INSTANCES OR THAT ALARM WAKE-UP MISSIONS WILL RENDER OR TRIGGER SUCCESSFULLY IN ALL CONDITIONS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LATE WORK ARRIVAL, JOB LOSS, ACADEMIC PENALTIES, DECREASED PRODUCTIVITY, ACCIDENT, OR LOSS OF DATA.
11. Disputes
If you have any concerns or disputes regarding Risen, we encourage you to contact us first at support@getrisen.app. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue before either party pursues formal legal action.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
